Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is seeking an Engineering Inventory Coordinator to maintain and optimize spare parts, tools, and materials for the Engineering team. You will ensure accurate records, monitor stock levels, and support timely replenishment to uphold exceptional service standards.

The role requires solid Excel skills, experience in inventory control or purchasing within hospitality, and a detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering coordination, inventory control or purchasing within a similar operational role.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with inventory/purchasing systems.
• Hospitality/facilities management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the Engineering inventory system for spare parts, materials, tools and consumables.
• Ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date including stock levels, locations and supplier details.
• Establish and monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to support operational requirements.
• Track inventory usage and proactively replenish critical materials and spare parts.
• Control and record the receipt, issue, return and movement of Engineering inventory and tools.
• Conduct regular stock counts, investigate discrepancies and manage obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
• Coordinate Engineering purchase requisitions ensuring specifications, quantities and documentation are accurate.
• Liaise with Purchasing, Vendors, Receiving and Finance to manage orders, deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain purchasing and inventory records while providing reports and updates to Engineering management.

What you will do

• Maintain and continuously improve the Engineering inventory system for spare parts materials tools and consumables
• Ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date including stock levels locations and supplier details

• Track inventory usage and proactively replenish critical materials and spare parts
• Control and record the receipt issuance return and movement of Engineering inventory and tools
• Conduct regular stock counts investigate discrepancies and manage obsolete or slow-moving inventory
• Coordinate Engineering purchase requisitions ensuring specifications quantities and documentation are accurate
• Liaise with Purchasing vendors Receiving and Finance to manage orders deliveries and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain purchasing and inventory records while providing reports and updates to Engineering management

What you bring

• Previous experience in Engineering coordination inventory control purchasing or a similar operational role
• Experience within hospitality facilities management or a technical engineering environment preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with inventory or purchasing systems
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent written and spoken English
• Problem-solving mindset high integrity and accountability in managing inventory and purchasing processes
• Basic knowledge of engineering materials spare parts and maintenance equipment combined with a high level of integrity and accountability
