Job summary

EPIC Piping in Abu Dhabi is seeking a meticulous Technical Document Controller to manage and oversee technical documents, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail and thorough knowledge of document control protocols.

You will implement and maintain document control processes, collaborate with engineering and project teams, distribute documents, track revisions, and provide training on document management systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in document control in a technical or engineering environment.
• Proficiency with document management software and systems.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update technical documents ensuring they are accurate, current, and systematically filed for easy access.
• Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and other departments for document accuracy and completeness.
• Distribute documents to relevant parties and track receipt acknowledgments and changes.
• Manage document review processes, ensuring timely approvals and archiving.
• Provide support and training on document control processes and document management systems.
• Conduct audits to ensure documents are managed per procedures and policies.
• Assist in preparation and coordination of project documentation and reports to meet deadlines.
