Tate in Dubai seeks an Engineering Coordinator to oversee daily activities of engineering staff and manage project delivery across the Middle East. You will log deliverables, coordinate documentation, and support cross-functional teams to meet specifications, timelines, and budgets.
Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering/related field, 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or construction, and strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

As the Engineering Coordinator, operating within our design engineering team, you will oversee and organise the daily activities of engineering staff, helping to keep track of schedule, deliverables and documentation. This role focuses on project delivery across the Middle East region in collaboration with cross functional teams and in full support of company strategy and goals for the region.
Implement and maintain administrative policies, procedures, and standards.
Support the global engineering strategy for Tate products that align with the organization's market position and enable tailored design solutions to be developed that meet the specific needs and challenges of cloud-based environments.
Provide regular reports and updates to management, on performance, milestones, and potential risks.
Education: A degree in Information Management, Construction Management, Project Management, or a technical degree in an Engineering field.
Additional certifications in records management, project coordination or document control systems a plus.
Experience: Proven experience of 2 to 5 years working directly within a manufacturing plant, engineering firm, or construction site office.
Skills: High attention to detail, strong organizational and planning skills, and the ability to handle rapid design changes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Experience with project management software and document management systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products.
Advanced skills in MS Excel for tracking large document registers, submittals, and RFI logs.
Proven ability to anticipate on-time delivery roadblocks and make recommendations to overcome them.
Strong Supervisory And Leadership Skills Required.
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to navigate 3D modelling software like SolidWorks, Inventor, Onshape, CADWorx, Plant3D, Revit or Navisworks a plus.
