Tate in Dubai, UAE, seeks a Quantity Surveyor to maximise commercial value across data centre projects. Based in our Dubai office, you will manage budgets, invoicing, and final accounts, with travel across the Middle East as needed.
You will review tender documents, prepare cost plans, and coordinate with contracts managers to optimise pricing and financial outcomes. The role requires strong communication and international travel readiness.

As Quantity Surveyor within Tate, you will hold commercial control and be tasked with maximising the successful running of each project. You will ensure accurate management of projects through budgeting and reporting to enable each project to be delivered seamlessly and in the most cost-effective manner possible, in accordance with contractual terms.
This role is based out of our office in Dubai, UAE, with responsibility for Tate installations across data centres within the Middle East. While most activities are Dubaibased, a small amount of travel may be required for client meetings and site visits.
Compliance:
Education: is mandatory to have a Bachelor's degree in (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, with previous experience of working within the construction industry, preferably data centre experience, and/or hyper-scale projects, oil&gas, industrial, etc
Experience: Proven track record in a complex, customer-centric role requiring exceptional agility, decisiveness, and commercial acumen. Demonstrated ability to manage intricate projects and deliver outstanding results.
Skills: Exceptional Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication abilities, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels and the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Highly motivated and able to work independently or within a multidisciplinary team. Delivers excellent customer service and represents Tate professionally. Demonstrates strong commercial and financial awareness. Clear, adaptable communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Effective time manager, able to set objectives and prioritise tasks for self and others. International Travel: Willingness and ability to travel internationally (15-25%) to oversee projects, engage with global partners, and ensure successful project execution across different locations.
