Job summary

ARCO Turnkey Solutions Contracting LLC in Dubai seeks an experienced Technical Engineering Manager to lead design coordination, review drawings, and ensure compliance with local and international standards.

You will coordinate with consultants, plan resources, supervise QA/QC, prepare reports, and drive value engineering across high-rise and mixed-use projects in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience with a recognized main contractor.
• GCC/UAE project experience preferred.
• Experience with high-rise, mid-rise and low-rise buildings.

Responsibilities

• Review IFC drawings specifications and contract documents to ensure technical compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants and design teams to resolve technical issues and RFIs.
• Prepare and review shop drawings method statements material submittals and technical proposals.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and standards.
• Lead technical coordination meetings with subcontractors and consultants.
• Identify design discrepancies and propose practical engineering solutions.
• Ensure proper implementation of value engineering initiatives where applicable.
• Coordinate with planning procurement QA QC and site execution teams.
• Support project managers in achieving project milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor site progress and provide technical guidance to construction teams.
• Assist in resource planning and sequencing of activities.
• Coordinate authority approvals and inspections when required.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations international standards and company procedures.
• Monitor QA QC implementation and ensure closure of NCRs and technical observations.
• Ensure all engineering documentation is maintained and updated.
• Participate in inspections testing and commissioning activities.
• Assist in technical evaluations of subcontractor variations and claims.
• Review BOQs and support quantity verification when required.
• Prepare technical reports progress updates and engineering status reports.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with project HSE requirements.

• Strong experience in high-rise, mid-rise and low rise Buildings including commercial and residential.
• GCC/UAE project experience preferred.
