Job summary

Pioneer International Projects Management is looking for a technical lead to manage engineering consultancy projects across the UAE. You will ensure high-quality multidisciplinary integration, regulatory compliance, and successful execution of large-scale building developments.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and 12-15 years of experience in the industry, with strong UAE consultancy and design coordination experience. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in engineering consultancy / construction industry.
• Strong UAE experience in consultancy and design coordination is mandatory.
• Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and technical standards.

Purpose

To lead technical coordination, design management, and project delivery for engineering consultancy projects across the UAE, ensuring high-quality multidisciplinary integration, regulatory compliance, and successful execution of large-scale building developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all technical and design coordination activities across multiple projects.
• Oversee architectural, structural, and MEP design integration and ensure project compliance.
• Manage and review design deliverables to ensure alignment with UAE authority regulations and project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with local authority standards including municipality regulations, Civil Defence, and other statutory bodies.
• Manage design risk, technical issues, and provide effective engineering solutions.
• Supervise and mentor technical teams including architects, engineers, and BIM staff.
• Support project execution from concept through construction supervision stages.
• Ensure quality assurance and technical governance across all deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in engineering consultancy / construction industry
• Strong UAE experience in consultancy and design coordination is mandatory
• Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority submission and approval processes
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and technical standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working on large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments

• Experience with high-rise and complex building projects
