Job summary

Al-Futtaim Group is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist for its Dubai corporate services team. The role focuses on implementing escalation processes, guiding ER matters, managing Speak Up channels, investigating cases, and ensuring outcomes comply with local labor laws and company policies.

You will develop and maintain ER policies, train staff, and support business ethics initiatives, aiming to foster a culture of ethics and strong ER governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in HR or Employment Law preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant HR/ER experience in the GCC.
• Deep knowledge of employee relations and employment law.
• Proven track record in project management and policy documentation.
• Understanding of HR functional areas and risks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate advice on ER issues, policies, local labor law practices, policy standards and compliance.
• Conduct investigations and assess ethics violations per Speak Up processes.
• Mediate conflicts and conduct employee investigations ensuring impartiality and confidentiality.
• Make recommendations for corrective and disciplinary action.
• Translate for hearings and communicate ER programs and strategies.
• Ensure ER policies comply with labor laws and are current.
• Develop SOPs, SLAs and lean process flows for ER operations.
• Support HR strategic projects and ER awareness campaigns.
• Analyze ER processes and report on Speak Up and disciplinary actions.
