Job summary

Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) in Abu Dhabi is expanding its Emerging Business Banking team. The role focuses on managing an asset portfolio and acquiring new relationships to help meet financial targets.

You will analyze client information for credit proposals, conduct client visits, cross-sell retail products, and ensure governance and timely credit administration while building a strong local business network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Management.
• MBA, CFA, CA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• 5–7 years in business banking with 2–3 years in UAE.
• Experience managing Emerging Business Banking/SME portfolios.
• Strong ability to prepare relationship plans and credit proposals.
• Knowledge of retail business banking products and trade/treasury solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow an assigned Emerging Business Banking client portfolio.
• Identify and acquire new Emerging Business Banking relationships.
• Analyze client information to prepare detailed credit proposals.
• Conduct regular client visits and complete call reports.
• Develop account plans and cross-sell retail banking products.
• Ensure service standards and client satisfaction.
• Monitor credit administration including reviews and covenant monitoring.
• Comply with policies, audit, regulatory standards.
• Keep abreast of market trends to identify opportunities.
• Build a network of local business contacts and strategic partners.
