Key Responsibilities
  • Install, test, and configure ELV systems, including CCTV, access control (e.g., biometric and RFID), audio-visual systems (e.g., intercoms and PA systems), and structured cabling for network and telecom systems.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for precise installations.
  • Install and configure automatic sliding doors, gate barriers, and PAVA systems according to project requirements and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Ensure all installations meet safety standards and local regulations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks to optimize system performance and extend lifespan.
  • Diagnose and repair faults to minimize downtime; test all systems post-installation and after repairs to confirm functionality and reliability.
  • Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs and provide updates to supervisors or project managers.
  • Offer technical support to clients, ensuring they understand operation and maintenance of systems.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and resolve issues to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct client training sessions on proper system usage.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry advancements and best practices for ELV systems; participate in workshops to enhance technical expertise.
  • Follow organizational safety protocols and comply with health and safety regulations during all tasks.
  • Assist team members when needed and be available for emergencies outside regular hours.
Qualifications
  • A Diploma or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in ELV systems, with expertise in PAVA systems, sliding gates, swing gates, and gate barrier systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
  • Possession of a valid MCC and SIRA Technician Card (preferred but not mandatory).
Working Conditions

Work will generally take place during day shift hours; weekend or shift work may be required. Travel within the United Arab Emirates may occur. Work can be indoors or outdoors and may involve extended standing, lifting of heavy objects, repetitive tasks, and the use of lifts, ladders, or scaffolding. Use of hand and power tools may be required.
