Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction management or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of proven quantity surveying experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for elevator installation and maintenance projects.
• Analyze tender documents and collaborate with sales to develop competitive bids.
• Monitor and manage project budgets and control costs throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors and ensure compliance.
• Address variations, amendments, and contractual terms to maintain project integrity.
• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors for procurement of materials and services.
• Evaluate bids and negotiate terms to ensure value and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify installations meet standards and client specs.
• Prepare progress reports for stakeholders and project teams.
• Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities with project managers and engineers.
• Develop risk management plans and implement mitigation actions.
• Resolve contractual or financial disputes promptly while maintaining relationships.
