Job summary

Egis Group in Dubai seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage costs, contracts and commercial aspects across planning, execution and completion of projects. The role requires strong analytical skills, coordination with stakeholders and strict cost control to ensure profitability.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years in quantity surveying, proficiency with CostX/Causeway and BIM, and a solid grasp of UAE regulations and RICS/NRM standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of professional quantity surveying experience with pre-contract cost planning and estimation.
• Experience across sports facilities, hospitality, mixed-use, urban developments, healthcare and education projects.
• Proficiency in CostX/Causeway and BIM; advanced Excel.
• Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare review and analyze cost estimates and cost plans across key design stages.
• Provide cost input in design development meetings to support informed design decisions.
• Identify and report on cost drivers risks and opportunities throughout design development.
• Undertake quantity take-offs from drawings and BIM to support cost planning and tender docs.
• Contribute to value engineering and option evaluations to optimize project value.
• Assist in commercial and cost risk registers and maintain budget status in reports.
• Liaise with PMs, engineers, consultants and contractors for timely cost information.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international standards (RICS/NRM).
• Utilize digital tools for measurement, planning, reporting and coordination.
