Job summary

Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island, a 5-star resort in Ras Al Khaimah, seeks an Electrician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical systems, ensuring a safe and comfortable guest environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years’ experience in a UAE 5-star resort, related electrical diplomas, and strong communication skills. Resort experience is preferred, and teamwork is essential for daily maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment across the property.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation of electrical installations.
• Inspect areas for safety hazards and take corrective action.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns to minimize disruptions.
• Assist guests regarding facilities in a professional and helpful manner.
• Plan and prioritize daily tasks to meet timelines.
• Support all departments with maintenance requests and operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards and company policies.
• Maintain records of maintenance work and report major repairs to the Engineering team.

Job Description

As an Electrician, you will perform a wide range of duties related to the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of the property's electrical systems and equipment, ensuring a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for guests and Heartists.

What you will be doing:

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and facilities throughout the property.
• Carry out preventive maintenance activities to ensure the reliable operation of all electrical installations.
• Inspect all areas of the property for safety hazards and take immediate corrective action when required.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions.
• Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative, professional, and helpful manner.
• Plan and prioritize daily tasks to ensure maintenance activities are completed within established timelines.
• Support all departments with their maintenance requests and operational requirements to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maintain records of maintenance work performed and report any major repairs or equipment issues to the Engineering team.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Should have proven track record in similar job role for at least 2 years for 5 Star Resort in UAE
• Resort experience is preferred.
• Should have technical education background and related diplomas
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work in a busy work schedule.
• Should be a team player
