Job summary

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Plumber to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the property's plumbing systems, ensuring guest comfort and safety on site in Ras Al Khaimah.

You will inspect and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, pumps, fixtures, and sanitary equipment, carry out preventive maintenance, and respond promptly to leaks or breakdowns while coordinating with the Engineering team to uphold health, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Good knowledge of plumbing systems, water distribution, drainage networks, pumps, and sanitary fixtures.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and effectively.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and building maintenance systems is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor water systems and associated equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with standards.
• Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative, professional, and helpful manner.
• Coordinate and prioritize daily maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Support all departments with their maintenance requests and operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report major repairs or equipment issues to Engineering.

Job Description

As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the property's plumbing systems and equipment to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for guests and Heartists.
