Job summary

Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island seeks an experienced Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems throughout the resort. You will respond to issues, perform preventive maintenance, and work to ensure guest comfort and safety in a vibrant hospitality environment.

You will diagnose and resolve plumbing problems, coordinate with maintenance teams, and uphold high standards of safety and service across a 5-star property on Ras Al Khaimah.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance activities.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Job Description

As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the property's plumbing systems and equipment to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for guests and Heartists.

What you will be doing:

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, pumps, valves, faucets, pipes, fixtures, and sanitary equipment throughout the property.
• Carry out preventive maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of all plumbing installations and equipment.
• Respond promptly to plumbing breakdowns, leaks, blockages, and maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions.
• Inspect all areas of the property for plumbing-related issues and safety hazards, taking immediate corrective action when required.
• Monitor water systems and associated equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with operational standards.
• Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative, professional, and helpful manner.
• Coordinate and prioritize daily maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion of assigned work orders.
• Support all departments with their maintenance requests and operational requirements to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report major repairs or equipment issues to the Engineering team.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Good knowledge of plumbing systems, water distribution, drainage networks, pumps, and sanitary fixtures.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and effectively.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and building maintenance systems is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
