Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a skilled electrical maintenance technician to execute preventive and breakdown maintenance on HV/MV/LV equipment, switchgears, transformers, VFDs, UPS and LV panels. The role emphasizes safety, first-time-right execution, and adherence to work orders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include responding to faults, coordinating with supervisors, and leading site teams to ensure minimum downtime and reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering required.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in operating and maintaining electrical equipment including HV/MV switchgear, VFDs, SS, UPS, battery chargers and LV panels.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment according to schedule.
• Respond to faults and troubleshoot on-site following supervisor instructions.
• Lead and supervise contractors and coordinate with supervisor for timely shutdowns and repairs.
• Follow PTW and work orders; ensure safe custody of tools, spare parts and materials.
