Job summary

Iquest Management Consultants is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform routine condition monitoring, fault diagnosis, and preventive maintenance on 0.4 kV LV/MV electrical systems. The role focuses on ensuring reliability of feeder panels and transformer systems while adhering to site safety guidelines.

Candidates should hold a Trade Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant field experience and a valid GCC driving license.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in electrical field with 4+ years hands-on experience
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Perform regular condition monitoring, testing, and inspection of 0.4 kV feeder panels
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, diagnose root causes, and rectify defects to minimize downtime
• Execute routine maintenance on distribution transformers and protective devices
• Handle installation, inspection, jointing, and maintenance for cables used in LV/MV systems
• Comply with site safety protocols, LOTO, permit-to-work, and risk assessments
• Travel between work sites for field repairs and inspections
