Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain a wide range of electrical equipment and systems at our site in the UAE. You will perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance with minimal supervision and on-call duties as required.

The role requires reading electrical drawings, handling high voltage safety, and ensuring compliance with EHS standards and plant procedures. Diploma or craft certificate and 5–8 years' relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Craft/Trade certificate or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with generators, switchgear, transformers and electrical schemes.
• Experience with computerised maintenance systems and spare parts records.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains a wide range of electrical equipment and systems.
• Performs preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Reads and understands electrical drawings and job instructions.
• Ensures safety procedures, EHS standards and plant operating requirements.
• Handles on-call duties as required and avoids recurrence of faults.
