Freeline Engineering Consultants in Dubai seeks a versatile Electrical Engineer who can bridge technical design, regulatory compliance, and construction site oversight.

The role requires the ability to read and cross-coordinate with structural, architectural, and mechanical drawings, and to navigate DEWA and Dubai Civil Defense approvals.

You will ensure installations follow approved drawings on active sites while maintaining adherence to Dubai regulations and project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with UAE equivalency status as necessary.
• 3–5 years of verified experience within a registered Dubai engineering consultancy.
• Registration with the Society of Engineers UAE is advantageous.

• Other MEP Systems: Demonstrate the versatility to design and calculate other engineering disciplines (HVAC, Plumbing) as required per project needs.
• System Integration: Syncing electrical systems with plumbing, HVAC, and firefighting setups.
• Authority Approvals: Navigating DEWA and Dubai Civil Defense submission portals.
• Site Supervision: Inspect active construction sites to verify that ongoing installations exactly match approved engineering drawings

Key Professional Requirements

• Local Expertise: Minimum 3 to 5 years of verified experience within a registered Dubai engineering consultancy.
• Multidisciplinary Awareness: Strong ability to read, interpret, and cross-coordinate structural, architectural, and mechanical drawings.
• Code Compliance: Deep, practical understanding of Dubai building regulations, utility codes, and bylaws, specifically including DDA, DM, and TRAKHEES rules.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (must be attested with UAE equivalency status as necessary).
• Professional Affiliations: Prior registration with the Society of Engineers (SOE) UAE is highly beneficial.
