Job summary

Black & White Engineering in Dubai is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design across multiple high‑value projects, from concept to detailed design, with direct client engagement.

You will coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams, ensure compliance with codes, prepare specifications, and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative, quality‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (BSc/BEng or equivalent).
• Experience in MEP electrical design across a range of building types, Data Centre preferable.
• Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Leading electrical design delivery across multiple projects from concept through detailed design
• Preparing specifications, drawings and contract documentation aligned with client and regulatory requirements
• Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards and statutory regulations
• Coordinating with mechanical, public health and other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions
• Supporting budget development and cost planning aligned with client specifications
• Liaising directly with clients, design teams and stakeholders
• Managing scope changes in line with change control procedures and maintaining cost and programme awareness
• Supporting junior engineers and contributing technically across the wider team

What we’re looking for

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (BSc/BEng or equivalent)
• Experience in MEP electrical design across a range of building types, Data Centre preferable.
• Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards and regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency in industry software such as AutoCAD and recognised electrical design tools
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Membership (or working toward membership) of a recognised professional body such as CIBSE or IET
• A proactive engineer who takes ownership and supports team delivery
