Job summary

Maple Engineering Consultants is seeking an MEP Draftsman Electrical Design Engineer for a full-time on-site position in Dubai. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HAP is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design (LV & HV).
• Must be a member of the Society of Engineers accredited by DEWA.
• Strong understanding of local and international codes and standards.

This is a full‑time on‑site role for an MEP Draftsman Electrical Design Engineer located in Dubai. The role involves designing electrical systems and power distribution for various projects, including luxury villas and highrise buildings, ensuring compliance with local and international engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed technical designs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Analyze project requirements and provide solutions to meet project objectives.
• Regularly communicate with the construction team to ensure project needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design (LV & HV).
• Must be a member of the Society of Engineers and accredited by DEWA.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, and related tools.
• Strong understanding of local and international codes and standards including DEWA, DM, DCD, Dubai Building Code, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative work environment.
