Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited is seeking an EHS professional to ensure environmental, health and safety compliance at project sites, implement EHS programs and promote a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.

The role includes conducting risk assessments, JSA, site inspections, EHS audits and training, while coordinating with regulators and stakeholders to ensure alignment with local and international standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience, preferably in renewable energy or construction.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
• Ground-mounted Solar PV experience preferred, particularly within the Middle East.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable local, national and international EHS regulations and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and identify appropriate mitigation measures.
• Carry out regular site inspections and EHS audits.
• Conduct EHS training and toolbox talks for site personnel and contractors.
• Monitor compliance with HSE requirements and promote a safety-first culture.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for the project site.
• Prepare regular EHS performance reports for the Project Manager and EHS Manager.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients and regulatory bodies on EHS matters.
