Larsen & Toubro in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced EHS professional to ensure site compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations on our renewable energy construction projects.

You will lead risk assessments, conduct JSA, train personnel, perform audits, and coordinate with regulators and contractors to promote a strong safety culture.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with applicable local, national and international EHS regulations and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and identify appropriate mitigation measures.
• Carry out regular site inspections and EHS audits.
• Conduct EHS training and toolbox talks for site personnel and contractors.
• Monitor compliance with HSE requirements and promote a safety-first culture.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for the project site.
• Prepare regular EHS performance reports for the Project Manager and EHS Manager.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients and regulatory bodies on EHS matters.

Job description

Job Purpose Responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety requirements at the project site, implementing EHS programs, conducting inspections and promoting a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable local, national and international EHS regulations and standards.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience, preferably in renewable energy or construction.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
• Ground-mounted Solar PV experience preferred, particularly within the Middle East.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
