Job summary

Horizon English School in Dubai seeks an IT Support Engineer to manage day-to-day technology, maintain assets, and provide user support for staff and students. You will troubleshoot issues, respond to service requests, and ensure SLAs are met across the campus.

You will collaborate with regional IT teams and external partners, supporting devices, OS deployment, and security controls while contributing to ongoing technology refresh initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years experience in an IT support role, preferably in education.
• Experience in a service desk environment with ITIL Foundation certification.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide full technical support to staff and students via service desk; log and prioritize issues per SLAs.
• Support staff in classrooms and online environments.
• Manage user accounts, including Microsoft 365 administration.
• Maintain school IT assets and assist with technology refresh projects.
• Lead basic troubleshooting for desktop, laptop, and server hardware.
• Coordinate with network team on Wi-Fi and internet connectivity across campus.
