Job summary

Horizon English School in Dubai is seeking an IT Support Engineer to deliver frontline technical support for staff and students. You will manage day-to-day technology, admin and classroom tools, ensuring systems are reliable and aligned with SLAs. The role involves collaboration with Cognita Middle East teams and occasional cross-site support.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IT support, ITIL basics, and strong English communication. A school setting experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a school or education setting.
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide full technical support to staff and students through the service desk.
• Manage day-to-day technology activities and maintain digital assets.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, server hardware and software assets.
• Coordinate with network team on Wi‑Fi and internet connectivity across campus.
• Support school events and technology refresh projects.
