Job summary

A pet care company in Dubai seeks an experienced E-commerce Platform Manager to oversee online operations across multiple channels. The role requires advanced proficiency in Excel, hands-on experience with Magento or WordPress, and a strong background in digital operations. Responsibilities include managing inventory, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring seamless customer journeys. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Platform Management & Operations: Oversee all online activities across our retail, wholesale, and mobile applications, ensuring seamless customer journeys and efficient platform performance.
  • Platform Management & Operations: Manage day-to-day functionality of the websites, ensuring all listings, promotions, and categories are updated and functional.
  • Inventory & Product Data Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and operations to ensure accurate stock availability.
  • Inventory & Product Data Management: Support product onboarding and categorization across platforms using the CMS, including creating, updating, and maintaining product listings.
  • Website & App Maintenance: Coordinate with IT and design teams to maintain and enhance website/app performance, functionality, and security.
  • Website & App Maintenance: Monitor load times, bugs, errors, and user feedback to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Sales & Traffic Reporting: Track website analytics, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators using tools like Google Analytics and platform dashboards.
  • Sales & Traffic Reporting: Generate regular reports and present actionable insights to improve sales and traffic.
  • Sales & Traffic Reporting: Build and maintain structured tracking documents using advanced Excel formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, and charts.

Requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, conditional formatting, pivot tables, charts, and dashboard creation.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS for minor website edits and content formatting.
  • Hands-on experience with Magento and/or WordPress CMS platforms is essential.
  • Familiarity with Next.js framework is a plus.
  • Ability to work closely with web developers and relay implementation needs effectively.
  • Understanding of digital merchandising, SEO fundamentals, and Google tools (Analytics, Merchant Centre, Search Console).
  • Skilled in using the Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative tools like Google Sheets and Docs.
  • Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, E-commerce, Business, IT, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in e-commerce platform management or digital operations.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational abilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills are mandatory—the candidate should be able to create automated reports and track performance with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
