Job summary

Egis in Dubai seeks an experienced Project Director - Site to lead complex site operations, overseeing projects from inception through completion and ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and UAE regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in project management, 5+ years on-site leadership, and a proven ability to drive performance, safety, and stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project management with at least 5 years in site-based leadership.
• Experience managing large-scale projects exceeding $5 million in budget.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera.
• Knowledge of PM methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience with budgets, cost control, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of UAE regulations and local building codes.
• PMP certification preferred; experience in the Middle East is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct all site-based project activities from planning to closure, ensuring scope, schedule and budget adherence.
• Lead, mentor and manage cross-functional project teams; ensure clear communication of objectives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and resource allocation; monitor performance metrics.
• Manage budgets, control costs and optimize resource utilization for efficiency and profitability.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks; implement contingency plans and decisive actions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, safety standards and QA processes.
• Communicate status to stakeholders and senior management; manage expectations.
• Coordinate with departments and vendors for seamless execution and issue resolution.
• Implement PM best practices and drive continuous process improvements.
