Job summary

You will manage and coordinate all on-site activities, interpret plans and specs, conduct regular site inspections, collaborate with project managers, architects and subcontractors, and maintain accurate project documentation while monitoring costs and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• UAE Professional Engineering License is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction or civil engineering projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes and local practices.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• UAE National citizenship is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
• Interpret and implement project plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and maintain project progress.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, change orders, and progress updates.
• Monitor and control project costs ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction codes and regulations.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff.
