Tura Executive is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Dubai-based finance team. This hands-on role covers day-to-day accounting, timely financial reporting, and close collaboration with the Shipping/Chartering business.

You will supervise junior staff, ensure balance sheet integrity, and deliver clear visibility of financial performance weekly and monthly. Dry bulk shipping experience is preferred, with tanker exposure considered.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance required.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent.
• Solid hands-on accounting experience in shipping/maritime.
• Dry bulk shipping preferred; tanker experience acceptable.

Aufgaben

• Hands-on day-to-day accounting: review transactions, journals, reconciliations, schedules.
• Prepare and review weekly financial reports showing financial position and movements.
• Produce monthly management accounts and ensure numbers are complete and reliable.
• Maintain balance sheet accounts, investigate discrepancies, ensure reconciliations exist.
• Analyse results, identify variances, highlight issues to management.
• Support month-end and year-end close and maintain reporting deadlines.
• Oversee shipping, chartering and voyage-operations accounting activities.
• Review voyage-related revenues and costs for accurate recording.
