Job summary

SVA Ship Management LLC in Dubai is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage vessel and corporate accounting operations, ensure timely financial reporting, and support compliance functions within the Finance & Accounting department.

The role requires 2–4 years of accounting experience in shipping or related industry, proficiency in Navision/Tally and Excel, and strong attention to detail and deadlines. You will collaborate with master, fleet personnel, bankers, and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in shipping or maritime.
• Proficiency in Navision and Tally; advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Approval & Processing: timely approval, recording and processing of invoices.
• Portage Bill Verification: coordinate verification and timely payments.
• Crew Wage Remittance: ensure timely remittance of crew wages.
• Monthly MIS & Variance Analysis: generate MIS reports and analyze variances.
• Transaction Recording: accurately record invoices and receipts.
• Statutory Compliance: ensure compliance with local tax filings.
• Debit Notes Generation: issue debit notes for reimbursements.
• Software use: Mari App and Tally for day-to-day accounting.
