Job summary

Talabat is seeking a Regional Category Manager - Private Label in Dubai to drive growth and optimize profitability for private label products. This strategic role will manage supplier relationships, execute product launches, and analyze performance metrics to enhance brand positioning across regional markets.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in category management, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent stakeholder management skills. Fluency in Arabic is a plus!

Qualifications

• Strong experience in category management or product management roles.
• Deep understanding of commercial principles including pricing, promotions, and product strategy.
• Proven track record in supplier management and negotiations.
• Experience in private label development or retail category growth.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret performance data.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across different markets simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage private label portfolio performance across the region.
• Lead sourcing and onboarding of local and international suppliers.
• Develop and execute private label product launches across multiple markets.
• Oversee assortment planning, packaging development, and go-to-market strategies.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
• Negotiate with suppliers and maintain strong business relationships.
• Ensure consistent brand positioning and packaging standards.
• Collaborate with creative agencies for product packaging and branding.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with operations, marketing, and supply chain teams.
