Job summary

GMG in Dubai is seeking a Senior Private Label Manager to lead category strategies and drive sales, profitability, and product innovation across the private label portfolio. You will source and manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and align offerings with brand objectives.

The role requires a decade in private label, including leadership experience in FMCG retail. You will work with internal stakeholders to forecast, analyze trends, and deliver competitive products and value to customers.

Qualifications

• 10 years in private label, including 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience in retail buying within FMCG is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supplier management: identify, engage, and motivate suppliers to meet performance and innovation goals.
• Procurement & contracting: initiate and manage procurement projects, negotiate contracts and terms.
• Strategic category management: own the category, drive growth, develop plans and set KPIs.
• Performance & forecasting: produce forecasts and monitor product performance with actionable recommendations.
• Market & data insights: analyze trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning to inform assortment and pricing.
