Job summary

Amazon UAE Now offers a Category Manager role to own private label and white label strategies across fresh produce, grocery, and perishable categories. You will drive end-to-end P&L, build local relevance, and collaborate with vendor management, pricing, sourcing, legal, and tech teams.

The ideal candidate blends commercial acumen with structured problem solving, strong stakeholder influence, and a track record in FMCG category development.

Qualifications

• Experience in Retail FMCG or client/vendor-facing environments such as sales or negotiation.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and effective communication abilities.
• 5 years of FMCG experience in Category Development, Product Development, Innovation, Portfolio or Brand Management.

Responsibilities

• Build category strategies in private/white label across fresh produce and grocery.
• Identify and evaluate new category opportunities aligned with quick commerce growth.
• Develop category roadmaps, business cases, P&L models and pricing strategies.
• Evaluate private labels from other Amazon marketplaces and localize for AE.
• Lead end-to-end product development and commercialization through stage-gate processes.
• Monitor market dynamics and translate insights into category actions.
• Manage external partners, suppliers and strategic collaborators.
• Coordinate with packaging for new product and packaging developments.
• Track revenue, profitability, market share and ROI; adjust actions accordingly.
• Prepare high-quality strategy papers, reviews, proposals for leadership forums.
