Job summary

talabat is seeking a People Operations Specialist for its UAE operations in Dubai. You will manage critical employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, pre-boarding, government documentation, payroll inputs, benefits enrollment, and HRIS maintenance.

You will work with PROs and internal teams to ensure compliant, timely processes, audits, and workflow improvements across the UAE market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business admin, management or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of People Operations or HR operations experience in UAE Mainland.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour law and statutory requirements.
• Experience with MOHRE, ICP, immigration, Emirates ID, medical and work permit procedures.
• Experience handling high volumes of onboarding and offboarding transactions.
• Familiarity with end-of-service benefits, leave encashment and payroll coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support complete onboarding process from offer to joining.
• Collect and file passports, visas, certificates, bank details and docs.
• Conduct pre-boarding calls to explain joining requirements.
• Coordinate with IT, Payroll, Procurement and workplace teams for resources.
• Ensure enrolment in medical insurance, payroll, allowances and benefits.
