Job summary

MAK Network Solutions is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, security systems, and IT solutions across multiple client sites in Dubai, UAE.

A valid UAE driving license is mandatory as regular travel to customer locations is required. The role requires 2–5 years of networking experience and certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/NSE/MTCNA are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.
2–5 years of networking and IT infrastructure experience.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and network security.
Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, Aruba or similar vendors.
Experience in firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
UAE experience preferred.
Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP, NSE, MTCNA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless systems, and firewalls.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, performance, and security issues.
Configure and support VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and wireless solutions.
Deploy and maintain enterprise Wi‑Fi solutions.
Configure and support firewall solutions, including security policies and VPN connectivity.
Perform site surveys, network assessments, and system upgrades.
Support IP Telephony (IP PBX) and CCTV systems when required.
Monitor network performance and provide preventive maintenance.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and as-built drawings.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide on-site and remote technical support.
