Job summary

UConnect Systems is seeking a Network Engineer to lead enterprise networking and security projects across the UAE. You will design, implement, secure, and support LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, and multi-vendor networks, with ownership from design to deployment and handover.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands‑on experience, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to manage multiple projects and customer engagements across the UAE. UAE driving licence and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on enterprise networking experience.
Strong experience with Routing and Switching technologies.
Experience configuring and supporting Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Huawei, Juniper, Extreme Networks or similar platforms.
Hands-on expertise in enterprise wireless networking and Wi‑Fi deployments.
Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols and troubleshooting.
Experience deploying firewall and network security solutions.
Hands-on experience with Fortinet/FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco Security or SonicWall.
Experience using network monitoring and diagnostic tools and customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

Manage the complete network project lifecycle, from planning to handover.
Design, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot enterprise networks.
Deploy and support routing and switching across multi-vendor environments.
Implement and maintain enterprise Wi-Fi, LAN, and WAN connectivity.
Design and administer network security solutions using Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, SonicWall.
Monitor network performance with NMS and diagnostic tools.
Produce network documentation, health reports, and project updates.
Collaborate with sales/pre-sales to develop technical proposals and BOQs.
