Job summary

Atlantis The Royal in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a Kitchen Equipment Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment on site. You will handle electric and gas appliances, refrigeration systems, gas controls and compressors while supporting preventive maintenance across the property.

The role requires hands-on expertise, soldering/brazing skills, and the ability to read wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise across electric and gas kitchen equipment.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and gas controls.
• Soldering, brazing and ability to read wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, modify, troubleshoot and repair electric and gas commercial kitchen equipment.
• Diagnose faults involving piping and gas controls; service air-to-gas systems.
• Repair ovens, steam cookers, dishwashers, walk-ins, ice machines; service refrigerators.
• Perform preventive maintenance and condition-based checks per manuals.
• Read wiring diagrams and follow manufacturer manuals during servicing.
• Ensure safety, proper PPE and maintain tools in good condition.
