Job summary

Tidewater in Dubai seeks an HR Advisor to deliver frontline onshore HR support for the Middle East and West Africa regions. The role covers recruitment, training and development, absence and performance management, and HR projects as part of a generalist HR function.

Based in the Dubai office, this on-site position operates Mon–Fri, supporting managers and employees across the workforce to ensure compliance, effective HR administration and a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good understanding of UAE or West Africa employment law.
• Experience delivering frontline HR support in an operational business

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Maintain accurate employment records and payroll documents.
• Provide HR advice to managers and employees on operational employment best practice and legal compliance.
• Assist in development and review of HR policies and procedures.
• Manage employee leave and attendance processes and Occupational Health referrals as required.
• Process visa/work permit applications in full regulatory compliance.
• Support training and development programmes.
