Job summary

Checkout.com in Dubai is seeking a proactive Workplace Experience Specialist to manage our offices across MENA. You’ll act as the office ambassador, overseeing space management, health and safety, visitors, vendors, and events while partnering with landlords to deliver a gold standard workplace.

The role requires multi-site operations experience in a fast-paced global startup, strong communication, vendor management, and a hands-on, collaborative approach. Three days in the Dubai office per week.

Qualifications

• Experience as Workplace/Facilities management in a fast-paced, global startup.
• Proven ability to manage multi-site building operations across borders.
• Solid understanding of building compliance and relevant legislation.
• Proficient with MS Office, Excel, Outlook and Google Apps.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and stakeholder influence.
• Proactive, solutions-focused with a customer mindset.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ownership.
• Vendor/contract management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the office ambassador, ensuring a welcoming and well-functioning workplace.
• Be the first point of contact for Workplace Experience matters across MENA.
• Manage space, in-office experience, health and safety, visitors, security and maintenance.
• Oversee vendor management, contracts and SLAs; budget management for sites.
• Plan and execute employee engagement events to foster community and well‑being.
• Collaborate with landlords to deliver a gold working experience for employees.
• Report KPIs and SLAs; ensure compliance with health, safety and security laws.
• Coordinate with global Workplace team on initiatives and projects.
• Serve as Workplace Service Desk administrator ensuring SLAs are met.
• Role based in Dubai with minimum 3 days in-office presence.
