Job summary

Taylor Root is partnering with an international energy company to recruit a Legal Counsel in Dubai. You will support development, execution and operation of LNG and energy infrastructure projects globally, gaining exposure to sophisticated cross-border transactions.

This role suits an ambitious energy lawyer moving toward more commercial work, with room to take ownership as experience grows and to collaborate with commercial, finance and project teams.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years PQE in energy or cross-border transactional practice.
• Experience drafting and negotiating LNG/energy project contracts.
• In-house or secondment exposure is a plus; cross-border projects understood.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate project and commercial agreements including LNG SPAs, gas sale/transportation, terminal use, regasification, EPC and project documents.
• Support international LNG/energy development, transaction execution and project finance activity.
• Advise internal teams on contractual issues and risk; collaborate with external counsel across jurisdictions.
