Job summary

Confidential, a Dubai-based freight and logistics company, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across its freight forwarding and logistics services. You will identify new opportunities, manage the full sales cycle, negotiate terms, build long-term client relationships, and work with operations to deliver competitive solutions in the UAE.

This role requires a proven B2B sales track record and an established UAE network.

Qualifications

4+ years of B2B sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
Proven ability to generate new business and independently close sales.
Established client relationships and a strong UAE logistics network preferred.
Knowledge of air freight, sea freight, land transportation, and customs clearance.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across freight forwarding and logistics services.
Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, negotiations, deal closure, and client onboarding.
Utilize an existing client network to generate new business and convert prospects into long-term customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, importers, exporters, and logistics partners.
Understand customer requirements and coordinate with operations teams to deliver competitive logistics solutions.
Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and achieve assigned sales targets.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular business development reports.
Monitor UAE logistics market trends, freight rates, and competitor activities.
