Job summary

athGADLANG is seeking a proactive Accountant to support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations and regulatory compliance. You will maintain accurate records, assist with month-end closings, and help prepare financial statements.

Experience in automotive, dealership, vehicle rental or leasing sectors is highly regarded. The role focuses on general ledger posting, journal entries, reconciliations, supplier payments, budgeting, VAT schedules and audits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
3-6 years of accounting experience preferably in automotive, leasing, rental or service sectors.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel.
Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance.
ACCA, CPA, CMA or CA are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate accounting records and post transactions to the general ledger.
Prepare journal entries with proper documentation.
Perform bank, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations.
Process accounts payable transactions and supplier payments.
Support accounts receivable and coordinate with stakeholders on balances.
Assist month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes.
