Confidential in Abu Dhabi seeks an Electrical Design Engineer with 2–4 years of infrastructure experience to design MV/LV systems, perform power flow analyses, and support utility coordination.

You will work with SINCAL/ETAP, create SLDs, load schedules, and docs, ensure UAE standards compliance, and collaborate with civil and telecom teams on infrastructure projects.

The role offers hands-on modelling, technical reporting, and mentorship from senior engineers in a dynamic consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in electrical design
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Knowledge of MV/LV electrical distribution systems
• Hands-on experience with Siemens SINCAL and/or ETAP
• Familiarity with electrical calculations, cable sizing, load flow analysis
• Knowledge of electrical design documentation and AutoCAD

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Design Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in infrastructure electrical design. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of electrical distribution networks, power system analysis, and electrical utility design, with hands-on experience in Siemens SINCAL and/or ETAP. Experience in fibre optics design will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical design drawings, load schedules, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and technical documentation.
• Perform electrical calculations, including cable sizing, load flow, voltage drop, and short-circuit analysis.
• Use Siemens SINCAL and/or ETAP for electrical network modelling and power system analysis.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and design submissions.
• Coordinate with civil, road, wet utility, and telecom design teams on infrastructure projects.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable UAE standards, authority requirements, and project specifications.
• Assist with reviewing drawings, calculations, and technical submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in electrical design, preferably within infrastructure engineering consultancy.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of MV/LV electrical distribution systems.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens SINCAL and/or ETAP.
• Knowledge of electrical calculations, cable sizing, load flow analysis, and voltage drop calculations.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and electrical design documentation.
