Zohorecruit is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in Dubai to lead the complete electrical design of MV and LV distribution systems from concept to detailed engineering.

The role covers design calculations, equipment specifications, bid evaluations, and support through procurement, FAT, installation, commissioning, and project close-out.

Competenze

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in electrical design engineering.
• Experience in MV/LV power distribution for industrial projects.
• Knowledge of ATS and AMF systems and hazardous area installations.
• Ability to coordinate with Process, Mechanical and other disciplines.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Job Summary

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for thecomplete electrical design of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) powerdistribution systems from concept through detailed engineering. The roleincludes preparation of design calculations, engineering documents, equipmentspecifications, technical bid evaluations, and support during procurement, FAT,installation, commissioning, and project close-out.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical System Design

• Design MVand LV power distribution systems.
• Developelectrical load lists and load schedules.
• Performload flow, short circuit, voltage drop, motor starting, and cable sizingcalculations.
• Conductprotective relay coordination and selectivity studies.
• Prepareequipment sizing calculations.
• Designearthing and lightning protection systems.
• Designpower distribution architecture for industrial plants.

Detailed Engineering

• Preparecable schedules and cable routing drawings.
• Prepareconduit layouts.
• Preparelighting layouts and lighting calculations.
• Develophazardous area electrical designs where applicable.
• Prepareinterconnection drawings.

Panel & Switchgear Engineering

• Design MVswitchgear systems
