Job summary

Confidential Career Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical & Communication Engineer in Abu Dhabi for extensive FOC and telecom infrastructure design. The role requires hands-on experience in FOC splicing, connectivity, and electrical network design with a focus on SLDs and voltage-drop calculations.

You will coordinate with telecom operators (Etisalat/du) for requirements and approvals, supervise CAD technicians, and ensure compliance across NoC submissions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in electrical and telecommunications infrastructure design.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Telecommunications/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Etisalat/du infrastructure and approvals preferred.
• Hands-on experience with FOC splicing, connectivity, bandwidth calculations and port allocation.

Responsibilities

• Design and review Fibre Optic Cable (FOC) networks from 4-core to 144-core.
• Prepare FOC splicing schedules, connectivity diagrams and port allocation designs.
• Perform bandwidth, capacity, load and voltage-drop calculations.
• Design electrical networks, power-feeding arrangements and Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs).
• Coordinate with Etisalat, du and other stakeholders for technical requirements, submissions and approvals.
• Coordinate with FOC and Electrical teams to ensure proper technical integration.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to FOC CAD Technicians.
• Review NoC submissions and ensure compliance with technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and review Fibre Optic Cable (FOC) networks from 4-core to 144-core.
• Prepare FOC splicing schedules, connectivity diagrams and port allocation designs.
• Perform bandwidth, capacity, load and voltage-drop calculations.
• Design electrical networks, power-feeding arrangements and Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs).
• Design and review Etisalat and du telecommunications infrastructure.
• Coordinate with Etisalat, du and other stakeholders for technical requirements, submissions and approvals.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with FOC splicing, connectivity, bandwidth/capacity calculations and port allocation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, including SLDs, load schedules and voltage-drop calculations.
• Experience with Etisalat and/or du infrastructure and approvals is highly preferred.
• Strong technical coordination, design-review and team-supervision skills.
