The Draftsman will provide detailed technical documentation while controlling revisions and coordinating changes between engineering, fabrication, and site teams. The role is particularly suited to an AutoCAD professional seeking deeper exposure to jumpform and advanced high-rise formwork systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings for proprietary, self-climbing, crane-supported climbing, and bespoke formwork systems.
• Produce General Arrangement drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly details, and formwork layouts.
• Convert approved engineering concepts into clear and buildable technical documentation.
• Assist Structural and Design Engineers in developing practical and economical formwork solutions.
• Prepare technical sketches, component details, material schedules, and supporting engineering documents.
• Provide drafting assistance for structural calculations and temporary works engineering packages.
• Review architectural, structural, reinforcement, and concrete drawings before developing formwork details.
• Verify dimensions, openings, concrete geometry, reinforcement interfaces, and other information affecting formwork arrangements.
• Coordinate drawing requirements with Structural Engineers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and fabrication teams.
• Incorporate approved engineering changes, consultant comments, and verified site requirements into drawing revisions.
• Maintain accurate drawing registers, revision histories, issuance records, and associated document controls.
• Monitor drawing priorities against construction and fabrication schedules.
• Ensure current drawing revisions are issued to the relevant project teams without unnecessary delay.
• Respond to technical drawing queries from fabrication and construction personnel.
• Coordinate modifications resulting from site conditions or engineering revisions.
• Detail anchors, brackets, rails, shutters, platforms, supports, and other components associated with climbing formwork.
• Ensure drawings clearly communicate interfaces between temporary works systems and permanent concrete structures.
• Incorporate working platforms, access arrangements, edge protection, and relevant safety provisions into drawings where applicable.
• Consider erection, climbing, dismantling, and construction sequencing when developing details.
• Maintain consistent dimensions, annotations, references, symbols, and drawing presentation standards.

• Assist with resolution of discrepancies between architectural, structural, reinforcement, and formwork documentation.
