Job summary

Aujan Interiors in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Document Controller with solid experience in interior fit‑out projects to manage project documentation, logging, filing, and revision history.

You will coordinate with Design, Joinery, MEP, Procurement and PM teams, operate document control systems like Aconex/Procore/Asite, and prepare regular status reports while ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Document Controller in Interior Fit‑Out projects.
• Strong knowledge of document control procedures and project documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook and good knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Architecture, Joinery, MEP, and Fit‑Out documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control all project documents, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and correspondence.
• Ensure proper logging, distribution, and filing of incoming and outgoing documents.
• Maintain document revision history and updated drawing registers.
• Manage project documentation through systems such as Aconex, Procore, Asite, or similar platforms.
• Coordinate with Design, Joinery, MEP, Procurement, Commercial, and Project Management teams.
• Maintain records of material submissions, shop drawings, approvals, and comments.
• Prepare weekly and monthly document status reports.
• Track pending approvals and follow up with consultants and clients.
• Maintain meeting minutes, technical correspondence, transmittals, and project records.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and project documentation requirements.
