Job summary

AECOM is seeking a skilled Document Controller in Fujairah to manage and control project documentation for Freight Facilities. You will ensure accurate records across the project lifecycle, maintain logs, manage transmittals, and coordinate with engineers and clients.

Strong EDMS experience and ISO 9001 knowledge are essential. The role requires 7 years of document control experience on major infrastructure projects, with UAE/GCC exposure considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering or related field.
• 7 years document control experience on major infrastructure projects (rail/freight/industrial preferred).
• Proficient with EDMS platforms (e.g. Aconex Asite ProjectWise ACC/BIM 360) and MS Office; strong Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of ISO 9001 and project document control procedures; ISO 19650 awareness is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and control all project documents drawings and correspondence in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure proper document numbering filing tracking and distribution systems are maintained.
• Receive register and distribute incoming and outgoing documents.
• Maintain updated logs for: Drawings RFIs Submittals NCRs Material approvals Technical submissions Correspondence.
• Coordinate document flow between site office, head office, consultant and client.
• Prepare weekly and monthly document status reports.
• Assist during audits by providing required documentation and records.
