Job summary

Kempinski Hotel seeks a Director of Training & Quality to lead the ongoing enhancement of quality standards and training across the Hotels, ensuring offline and online learning tools are utilized to develop talent and deliver exceptional guest service while driving profitability.

You will establish a training network, analyse needs and effectiveness, orchestrate KEA checks, coordinate development programs with EXCOM and heads of departments, and mentor the Training team to sustain Kempinski's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism/Hotel Management or Education.
• 1 year in a similar position within a luxury brand.
• Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment.
• Administration skills; planning and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Team leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous improvement of quality standards and scores across the hotels.
• Establish a training network in line with Kempinski standards and spend time in operations.
• Analyse training needs and measure training effectiveness.
• Ensure all corporately developed Training BITES are implemented and reflect hotel policies.
• Develop and implement the Training BITE Library with department trainers.
• Track and report training program attendance and outcomes.
• Design, plan and deliver training programs.
• Develop a training marketing strategy for back-of-house and campaigns.
• Analyse e-learning data and share insights with management and trainers to improve performance.
• Coach managers and department trainers to improve performance.
• Coordinate learning for EXCOM and HODs per their development plans.
• Organise Kempinski DNA and brand immersion activities.
• Seek and implement new learning approaches and processes to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with department heads to analyse quality performance using KEA and ReviewPro; provide remedial training.
