Job summary

Kawader HR Consultancy is recruiting a senior finance leader in Abu Dhabi to steer financial strategy and governance for the group. The role requires extensive leadership experience, UAE market familiarity, and fluency in Arabic and English.

You will partner with the executive team to drive budgeting, reporting, and compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate brings 12+ years of experience, including 8+ years in leadership, and holds a Bachelor or Master in Accounting or Finance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in accounting or finance.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English required.
• 12+ years of total experience.
• 8+ years in a similar leadership role.
• 8+ years of UAE working experience with local market familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and manage financial strategies aligned with the company vision.
• Lead development and implementation of financial and accounting policies, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to identify challenges and implement financial strategies.
• Oversee budgeting policies and reporting of periodic budgets.
• Present financial statistics and insights to the Board of Directors.
• Implement KPIs to evaluate Finance department effectiveness.
• Ensure investment transactions align with accounting systems and reserve policies.
• Oversee the funding framework to ensure sufficiency of levies and fees.
• Support annual and interim audits.
• Lead timely and accurate financial management and statistical reports.
• Maintain accounting records and controls.
• Provide sound financial guidance to management for decision-making.
• Lead, motivate, and develop subordinates to enhance performance.
