Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Dubai seeks a Senior Project Manager with a proven Transport & Logistics background to lead cross-functional workstreams and drive improvements.

You will conduct client and leadership meetings, develop strategies, and nurture relationships while pursuing new business opportunities across the GCC region.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business administration, Economy, Engineering, or related field.
• 8-10 years of project management and business development experience, ideally in management consulting.
• 8-10 years experience within the Transport & Logistics sector with GCC experience.
• Experience in capital project lifecycle (capital strategy, financing, delivery, asset management & optimization, PPPs).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to articulate ideas to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Analytical, creative, and critical thinking to develop solutions.

• Lead the execution of project workstreams, demonstrating expertise and identifying opportunities for process improvement within the assigned tasks.
• Conduct meetings and presentations with clients, as well as internal managerial and executive stakeholders, showcasing proficiency and confidence in discussing project matters.
• Collaborate with teams and clients, engaging in negotiations and fostering effective partnerships between leadership.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, seeking to understand their needs and contributing to their satisfaction.
• Participate in industry events and associations to broaden professional connections and identify potential growth avenues.
• Contribute to the identification and pursuit of new business prospects, aligned with the strategic goals of the company

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in business administration, Economy, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management and business development, ideally within management consulting.
• 8-10 years experience within the Transport & Logistics sector (i.e.: one or more sub-sectors like Ports, Shipping, Railways, Roads, Aviation, Logistics) with at least 4-5 years experience in the GCC.
• Proven experience in the capital project life cycle in one or more steps of the value chain (i.e.: capital strategy, financing, delivery, asset management & optimization, operational models - PPPs)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of articulating ideas to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and develop solutions, emphasizing creativity and critical thinking.
